We gave them a concept from which to work, and they guided us through the building process, turning our concept into a beautiful Southwest home. Andy’s depth of knowledge and skill coupled with his artistic background made it easy for us to say “you choose!” when it came down to nuances, finish details and colors. We did all our coordination via cell phone and pictures. Any and all surprises were good ones! We still cannot believe they built us a comfortable and beautiful home in such a remote location.

Ten years ago I approached Andy to build my home in Las Cruces, New Mexico. He helped me develop plans, budget, financing and all the other many details involved in a construction project. Andy explained every phase of the project in clear and concise language so that I literally know my home inside and out. Guests cannot believe the quality of my home construction and this home fits my needs perfectly.

I wanted to build a caretaker cottage and knew pretty much what I wanted. However I had no idea how to detail or describe what I needed. I met with Andy and within just 2-3 meetings they had designed exactly what I needed and wanted.
They were always prompt, environmentally clean and kept to the budget with payments due exactly as outlined. A large amount of utility work had to be done and they always made sure the subs were timely and on target. The small details they added to this project to make it aesthetically unique and attractive are truly special.

Great communication in keeping us involved with choices to the degree we needed and no more than we wanted. Accurate budgeting with both time and money. Dillwood has completed two projects for us. The first was an addition to an older home done in 2007-08. We then decided to build a new home. Dillwood is professional, knowledgeable, prompt, and very easy to work with. We love our new home and have had numerous compliments on its construction, layout, and special appointments.
